About Me

Hi! I’m Jana! Let’s get to know each other, shall we? Here’s a little bit about me:

I’m Earl’s partner in crime and mom to my two best creations.
I’m a New Englander through and through.
I’m a light seeker and grace believer.
I’m a Chicken Whisperer and wannabe homesteader.
I’m a wonderer and a wanderer.
I’m a teacher, storyteller and observer of life.
I’m a big believer in hope and setting a wide table.
I’m a passionate advocate for the underdog. These are some of my favorite people.
I’m a fan of simple living, thrift store finds, tiny houses and Africa.
I’m sensitive. It’s my superpower. But it means I take frequent naps.
I’ll talk to you all day long about ‘saving the world’, but I hate small talk.
I believe in big dreams and big earrings (the bigger the better).
I’m a recovering perfectionist. There’s freedom in the gray area.
I am a deeply loved child of God (and I believe you are too).
I am a work in progress.

We’re all works in progress (or at least we should be). And as long as I have breath, He’s not done with me yet. This is my little corner of the world – where my thoughts for the day might land and where I write about the things I’m most passionate about. Pull up a seat and join me at the Potter’s wheel.

ABOUT THE NAME
________________________________________________________________________________________

The name for the blog is inspired by Isaiah 64:8: “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
